This year we celebrate the centenary of the Act of Parliament that placed a duty on local authorities to make provision for allotments for the use of local people — the Small Holdings and Allotments Act 1908.
For details of the confirmed events that have been organised by the Association, please look at the Events page. We're planning some allotment walks and talks to take place during the summer and autumn, and possibly some visits to famous or historic allotments outside the district.
